World No. 24 Russian tennis player Anna Kalinskaya shared whether she has any favorite spots in Rome, Italy.
— You mentioned greenery and statues. They are not only here at Foro Italico but all over Rome. Do you have any especially favorite places in the city?
— This year I haven’t been to many places. I went out into the city only once — and there were so many tourists. So I haven’t really gone anywhere yet. And thank goodness, because I don’t have time — I have matches in both singles and doubles. Last year, I visited the Vatican for the first time. I really liked it. I was near the Colosseum, but I didn’t have time to go inside — they were closing. Overall, yes, I really like Italy.
