Hyundai Motor announced on May 13 that it will open a FIFA museum and host the “Legacies of Champions” exhibition at Radio Park in Manhattan’s Rockefeller Center, New York, in celebration of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The exhibition, running from June 11 to July 19, will take visitors on a journey through more than 100 years of World Cup history, from the first tournament in 1930 to the present day, highlighting how each edition has impacted football fans worldwide.

The museum will feature themed displays covering iconic moments, winning teams, and standout players from every World Cup. Hyundai noted that actual artifacts used in matches will be on display, allowing even those unfamiliar with football to experience the history and significance of the tournament.

In a special highlight, the exhibition will showcase the national team jerseys of all 48 participating nations in the 2026 World Cup, as well as the “Jules Rimet Trophy,” the first-ever World Cup trophy, which will be available for visitors to view during the exhibition period.

Additionally, video installations titled “The Final” and “Wall of Champions” will present dramatic moments from past finals and celebrate the champions who have lifted the trophy.

The exhibition also traces Hyundai Motor’s long-standing sponsorship of FIFA, which began with the 1999 Women’s World Cup in the United States and has continued for 27 years. For the 2026 World Cup, Hyundai will collaborate with Boston Dynamics to showcase advanced robotics technology, with the FIFA museum introducing content that combines robotics and football. The exhibition will also feature Hyundai’s World Cup campaign message, “The Future Starts Here.”

Alongside the indoor displays, an outdoor participatory exhibition will be held in connection with the Fan Village event at Rockefeller Center from July 6 to 19.

Admission to the FIFA museum exhibition is free, and advance reservations can be made through the official Rockefeller Center website.

“Hyundai Motor has been a FIFA World Cup partner for over 20 years, accompanying the tournament’s history and growth,” said Ji Seong-won, Executive Vice President and Head of Hyundai Motor’s Brand Marketing Division.
